The Tulsa Police Department partnered with the Crime Prevention Network for a toy drive.
Many children in the city of Tulsa will not have a single gift to open on Christmas Day. The Tulsa Police Department and the Crime Prevention Network aim to change this and make sure needy children in Tulsa have at least one present from Santa under their tree.
Beginning December 2, the Riverside Division will begin accepting toys. Individuals may drop off new unwrapped toys Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Riverside Division, located at 7515 Riverside Drive. Individuals who are unable to get to the division to deliver a toy may leave a message and we will attempt to pick up the gift.
People who know children under the age of 12 that need a toy this season can call the Crime Prevention Network at 918-585-5209.
The deadline for name submissions is December 17 at 4 p.m. Uniform Tulsa Police officers will be delivery the toys before Christmas.
