Dozens of Tulsa parks are getting improvements.

Reed Park is one of the locations getting part of $12 million in upgrades. The park got new playground equipment and safer rubber surfaces. A new splash pad is also being designed for Springdale and Franklin Parks.

The improvements are being paid for by 2006 sales tax funds.
