Tulsa man sentenced for 2010 beating death

A Tulsa man convicted of beating a man to death in 2010 has been sentenced.
A judge sentenced Joseph Sopsher to 25 years in prison for the Christmas Day death of Russell Smith, Jr. Sopsher was convicted of beating Smith to death after getting into an argument about a girlfriend.
Sopsher’s sentence will include credit for time already served.
