Tulsa man booked on rape charge for incident 6 years ago

A Tulsa man accused of rape is behind bars.
Police reports show 24-year-old Kevin Shupe was booked for 2nd degree rape on Tuesday. Prosecutors say Shupe raped a 14-year-old six years ago when he was 19.
The incident was not reported until December. The statute of limitations for 2nd degree rape is 12 years. Shupe is being held on $25,000 bond.
