Tulsa police arrested a man they say was trafficking cocaine and planned on making crack.
Just after midnight on June 20th police patrolling near the 600 block of E. 51st Pl. North saw a white Magnum fail to stop at a stop sign. Police say they stopped the car and the driver, Kejuan Campbell, ran from the officers. Officers chased him through a creek and several yards before catching him and arresting him.
An officer found a baggie of a white powdery substance near a fence in the area where the suspect ran, the substance tested positive for cocaine. Police say they also found baking soda in Campbell’s pocket, baking soda is used to turn cocaine into crack.
Campbell faces charges of trafficking cocaine, endeavor to manufacture crack, possession of drug paraphernalia, no tax stamp, failure to stop at a stop sign, no driver’s license and no insurance.
