Tulsa police arrested a man accused of injuring his girlfriend’s son.

Police arrested Carl Dixon on one count of child abuse. According to the police report Dixon and his girlfriend, the one-year old boy’s mother, took him to the hospital on June 16th. They reported he was unresponsive and said he had fallen off of a couch.

Police say Dixon had stayed the night at his girlfriend’s home and agreed to babysit the little boy while his girlfriend was at work.

The victim had a low heart rate and is being treated at a local hospital.

I am the mother of the little boy they are talking about.. And i wish they had there facts all completely straight before putting up information. My son is now out of the hospital and doing absolutely amazing. Thank you everyone for the support. Let me make a few things clear i was not mr dixons girlfriend. Unfortunatly that little lie there has made a bunch of drama in my life and its completely unnecisary. I do want to say thank you to everyone who has kept,my son in there prayers. This has been and still is a very tough time in my familys life.

When my children were babies, their father and my husband abandoned us. I can tell you there were times I didn;t think I was going to have enough money to buy groceries, put gas in my car, put a roof over our heads, heat ir or cool it, BUT, LET ME REPEAT, BUT, never at anytime did I EVER leave my small children with someone I was dating. Mr. Dixon, they need to cover your cell wallks with pictures of this precious child you intentionally injured! Maybe your cell mates can reciprocate to you, like what you did to this poor child!
