A Tulsa man faces charges after a standoff with police on Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to a home near 52nd Place North and Frankfort around three p.m. Sunday afternoon.   When they arrived, they say the brother of Darin Bunch told them he was inside with access to a hatchet.

Officers were able to get several family members out safely and negotiate with Bunch. The Special Operations Team was also called in, and Bunch surrendered around 8 p.m. Sunday night.

Bunch was booked into the Tulsa jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.

LOL a hatchet? Does the Department of Homeland Security now about this? They are going to have to ban hatchets now....they are dangerous weapons, only rubber hatchets are allowed from here out.
