A Tulsa man accused of making obscene phone calls to local hospitals now faces charges for threatening a violent act.
Kevin Shelman faces charges for threatening a violent act and threatening the use of an explosive in communication. Deputies say Shelman wrote a letter to a detention officer at David L. Moss that threatened to shoot and stab a detention officer 20 times and threatened to blow up the officer’s house and car. Deputies say the letter was signed by Kevin Shelman.
Shelman also faces six counts of making obscene phone calls. Shelman was arrested for allegedly calling St. Franics and Hillcrest hospitals and saying he was having sex with children back in June of 2012.
