The Tulsa Public Library wants to help you soar into the New Year with the “Paper Airplane Challenge.”
The challenge is on Thursday January 3rd at 1 p.m. at Central Library. People can learn new airplane designs, such as the Arrow, Dart, Hoop Glider and Whirlybird, or create your own aerodynamic marvel.
There will be books on the various designs to help with the precision folding. At 1:45 p.m. participants can compete in the “Paper Airplane Air Show,” featuring a competition for distance and accuracy. Both children and adults will have their own age categories for the competition.
For more information on the “Paper Airplane Challenge” or other library programs, call the AskUs Hotline, 918-549-7323, or visit the library’s
