Tulsa firefighters, City of Tulsa reach new contract deal

A new contract for Tulsa Firefighters has been approved.

Firefighters and the City of Tulsa have been trying to reach a deal on the contract since March. The newly approved deal includes a 3.5% pay increase for firefighters with three percent monthly stipends for firefighters that are trained as EMTs.

The new contract will be retro-active from July.
