The Tulsa Zoo will host a special holiday enrichment every Saturday during the holiday season.
The Tulsa Zoo set up a wish tree at the front of the zoo with wish list items for animals across the zoo. Guests are invited to make the holidays special for animals by purchasing enrichment items as presents, then watch as the animals receive the gifts.
Guests will be able to see the animals receive their enrichment items every Saturday in December, 11a.m.-1p.m.
Zoo officials say the enrichment items stimulate the animals to encourage behavior that would naturally take place in the wild. Animals receive enrichment items throughout the year, helping to keep them active and healthy, while enhancing natural behaviors.
Festivities will take place December 1, 8, 15 and 22, 11a.m.-1p.m.
