Tulsa Zoo celebrating "Howl-days"

The Tulsa Zoo is celebrating the howl-idays this year with unique gifts and animal fun.

The Tulsa Zoo is featuring a variety of special gifts and the proceeds help build a better zoo. Besides shopping at the Zoo gift shop or at the Pop Up shop downtown Zoo officials have put up the Tulsa Zoo Wish Tree.

Tulsa Zoo guests are invited to make the holidays special for animals by purchasing enrichment items as presents, then watch as the animals receive the gifts. Guests will be able to see the animals receive their enrichment items every Saturday in December, 11a.m.-1p.m.

The Tulsa Zoo's animal adoption program, Animals Depend On People Too, is also a way to support your zoo and your favorite animals! A.D.O.P.T. animal packages start at only $40 and include fact sheets, photos and even free zoo tickets.

The Tulsa Zoo and the Tulsa Zoo's Zoofari Market are both drop-off locations for Toys for Tots! Make the holidays special for a child this season by donating an unwrapped toy. Tulsa Zoo Members who drop off items for Toys for Tots will receive 20 percent off their purchase at the zoo's gift store. Drop-off items will be accepted through December 13.
