I think that sharpton and jackson do nothing but fuel racism. They only show up when a black person has been killed by a white person. Never do they speak TO the black community about the crimes that they commit. They should visit the families of the 2 white people that were executed at the park. After that, they should visit the families in Tennessee of the 2 white people that were raped, tortured and murdered by 5 black people.

I'm sorry, maybe I am naive but I don't see the huge racism problem these people see. I remember when I asked my mom why there was three bathrooms, one for white men, one for white ladies and one for black, and when the restaurants in my town had a table or two in the back behind the kitchen for blacks. It isn't like that anymore, if you work hard and have integrity you can become the first black president of the U.S.the head of a huge international company, an army General, an Astronaut, Doctor, Lawyer or yes, even an Indian Chief. I think non of this is due to people like Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, it is due to the men and women who worked extra hard, learned more, and sacrificed to claw their way to the top and be the best, and that is the only way any of us regardless of race ever make great changes, those mal-contents who sit and complain, wait for someone to hand them what what they want, cry and pity themselves or try to take shortcuts never amount to anything, and are ignored or forgotten quickly, those who look constantly for injustice will find it, those who can see injustice for what it really is, will always find the right way to change it. Ya'll see racism, I see different cultures who could co-exist peacefully if racist bas***ds who depend on racism to keep their name in the news would stop trying so hard to drive a wedge between them.

Which is more amusing, the fact that the Y has someone who is a "Director of Racial Justice," or that someone thinks they can "eliminate racism"?
