Tulsa Police are investigating a child hit by a car

FOX23 has learned that a young boy was hit by a car while walking to school this morning in North Tulsa

Emergency responders took the 9-year-old boy to the hospital in critical condition.  Police said the child was walking with his 2 siblings to school when a car, going the same direction, struck the 9-year-old.

The driver said she could not see him until it was too late.

Too late? Too late for what??? If you're paying attention to the road, I don't see how you couldn't see somebody in such an open view. Prolly too late to look up from the phone.
