The Tulsa Performing Arts Center ticket office was named the 2013 “Outstanding Box Office” by the International Ticketing Association.
INTIX is a nonprofit membership organization committed to leading the forum for the entertainment ticketing industry and represents over 1,000 ticketing, sales, technology, finance, and marketing professionals who work in arts, sports, and entertainment, as well as a full range of public venues and institutions. Members represent organizations from across the United States, Canada and 20 countries from around the globe.
“We are honored to accept this award from the ticketing industry’s leading organization,” said PAC Director John Scott. “Our dynamic box office serves ticket-buyers who purchase tickets through our regional ticketing company, MyTicketOffice.com, at 13 venues in six cities and two states. In addition, our ticket office assists the PAC’s 14 core customer user groups with all their ticket sales. It is an immense job and our staff excels at delivering the highest level of customer service. I am grateful to and proud of everyone at the Performing Arts Center who works with and for the ticket office. This recognition reflects well on our staff and the City of Tulsa, and is richly deserved.”
The PAC ticket office processed $6.9 million in ticket sales during the City of Tulsa’s 2012 fiscal year. The PAC, alone, hosted 554 events in fiscal year 2012. System-wide, the PAC’s MyTicketOffice.com, handled $19 million in ticket sales for that time period.
