Guess she finally got caught too many times with her hands in the cookie jar and threatened with exposure or procecution. What a businessperson she was, got kickbacks on all kinds of public projects and expenditures.

Those that will miss here are delusional, she left us with a F-ing new Stadium we don't need when the one at 15 & Yale is just fine as it has been for yrs so why a new one when furloughs are being handed out, and streets in a mess. Then again there were some that thought Georgie Bushwacked & Hitler did great things, just goes to show how easily people can be conned.

Too bad! She was honest and hard working. Always active and involved. She was good for Tulsa. Mayor Taylor did not talk in riddles. She is going to be missed.

Now, if she would take HER ball park with her when she goes, then we'll be in good shape.

micel025, Believe it or not the Mayor has never accepted a pay check from the city of Tulsa. She has basically been working for "free". And Thank GOD she is leaving, it gives us all a ray of hope.

This is a sad day she did the very best she could while everyone poked and prodded her and especially not having the Tulsa citizens behind her to support her sure everyone is happy when she is elected but very soon after just brush her off shame on you all.

Talk her out of it Ruthie!!! Not hardly. The mayor knows she would not have a chance to be re-elected. This was by far the best decision she has ever made for the good of Tulsa. I certainly hope for the good of the city a outstanding individual will step forward and run. We have had Savage, Lafortune and now Taylor. Taylor, by far, is the worst of the three. Her leaving can't be too soon.

This is a sad day for Tulsa. She's been calm and sure leadership for our City when all around her the City Council folks play their games. Maybe we can talk her out of it.
