Tulsa police are now looking for a man who bonded out of jail but a judge decided he was more dangerous than first thought.

Police say a 33-year-old Allen Shields is facing five counts including two counts of kidnapping, gun, assault with a deadly weapon and first-degree burglary charges.

Shields is accused of attacking a woman Monday night and he bonded out of jail this morning. However, this afternoon investigators expressed their concern and a judge issued a warrant to increase his bond to $1,250,000.

FOX23’s Abbie Alford spoke with Tulsa Police Homicide detectives and his connection to two cases. Police say a nine-year-old locked herself in a room and called 911 after her mother was being attacked by a man police believe is Allen Shields.

The same man who has a connection to a woman who has been missing since November 2007.

Allen Shields ex-girlfriend Angie Tucker was reported missing on November 3rd, 2007. Court records show one month before her disappearance Tucker filed a protective order against Shields.

Shields is the now the prime suspect in an attack on a woman in North Tulsa. Police even found what they call a “homicide kit” they believe Shields stashed in the home.

"We look at as a whole instead of isolating. We look at each individual case and see where it takes us and sometimes it takes us back to the same person over and over again and we just continue to collect information," says TPD Homicide Sgt. Mike Huff.

As Angie Tucker’s family continues to wait for justice her mother tells FOX23 Tucker’s children are still living without their mother and no answers to what happened to their mother. However, investigators say evidence collected at the home where a woman and her daughter were terrorized by an intruder could be key in solving both cases.

"We've had several conversations about how to move forward with both of these cases and cut pause if you can hold this man accountable," says Huff.

A judge agrees. Judge David Youll issued a warrant for Shields’ arrest and increased his bond to more than a million dollars.

Police say there may not be physical evidence that connects Tuesday night’s attack to Angie Tucker’s disappearance, however police say the community can sill play a role in helping to solve Tucker’s missing person’s case.

"When somebody gets locked into an arrest and a prosecution a lot of times that motivates the community to step forward," says Huff.
