The Tulsa International Airport launched its new logo, website, and branding campaign on Thursday.
The new logo was designed by Walsh Branding with an objective to develop an identity for Tulsa International Airport that leverages the strengths and points of difference of both the airport and the City of Tulsa.
“We chose to pursue a logo and brand for Tulsa International Airport to complement the airport’s recent renovations and refresh the identification system that is used to represent and promote airport facilities,” said Alexis Higgins, Deputy Airports Director Marketing and Communications. “The airport has never had its own logo and often the logo for Tulsa Airport Authority, TUL’s administrative arm, was used in lieu of one.”
Airports Director, Jeff Mulder, said, “This logo cues movement and reflects both the efficiency and modernization of Tulsa International Airport and the revitalization and growth of the City of Tulsa overall.”
Starting Thursday the new logo will be used on the airport’s social media channels, airport parking and shuttle bus operations, and advertising. The logo is also prominently displayed and integrated into the airport’s redesigned
website.
