The Tulsa International Airport is ready for any wintry weather in the coming days.
FOX23’s Price McKeon looked at what passengers need to do to make sure the mix of weather and busy holiday travel don't cause you to miss your flight.
The next two weeks are expected to be busy with holiday travel and now with winter weather on its way.
Ron Chapell is part of the holiday travelers; he's taking 9 family members to Disney World.
He said checking in was a breeze because he did what the airport said to do: check in online and print your boarding pass.
The weather might be warmer in Florida, but when it comes to the airport?
“What I’ve seen so far looks very promising compared to what we're expecting to see in Orlando when we get there,” he said.
He knows because he's going home to Orlando. FOX23 found out holiday travelers are expected to flood flights in Tulsa especially morning flights, so the be here two hours before departure rule is a rule travelers will want to follow.
And of course with the weather that's coming in they might add a little extra time.
