The Tulsa Health Department and OSU Medical Center have teamed up to help people navigate the health insurance marketplace.

This Thursday, Feb. 13, you can go to the North Regional Health and Wellness Center from 1-7 p.m. to enroll online with assistance.

The event coordinators told FOX23, 18 percent of adults in the city of Tulsa are uninsured.

The coordinators' goal is to make sure signing up for health care is as easy as possible, "We are going to have 16 health navigators, certified application counselors on site to help people to navigate through the system," Chief Operating Officer Reggie Ivey said.
"Any issues that an individual might have had by themselves will have someone on-site to assist them," said Ivey.

They do ask that everyone bring the proper documents with them to enroll.

The national deadline to enroll is March 31.
