Tulsa Foundation for Architecture announced "Deco In December" a special Second Saturday architecture tour located in the heart of downtown Tulsa.

TFA's Second Saturday is a standing monthly architecture tour in downtown Tulsa that teaches Tulsans and visitors about many historic and architecturally significant buildings.

"Deco In December" is a special edition of the Second Saturday tour, which showcases unique Art Deco buildings throughout the long lifespan of the style, from Zig Zag to Streamline and even Moderne. Participants will see and learn about landmarks such as the Tulsa Club and the Oklahoma Natural Gas building, constructed during a period of great growth and optimism in our city.

“Deco In December” will begin at Topeca Coffee in the historic Mayo Hotel, located at
115 West 5th Street and starting at 10:00 am on Saturday December 14, 2013.

The cost per attendee is $10 to benefit the non-profit Tulsa Foundation for Architecture. Children 12 and under are free.

"This special Second Saturday tour embodies the spirit of downtown Tulsa during the holidays, and really hones in on the Art Deco treasures we have." says trustee Cassandra Peters.!
