The Tulsa County Jail is again accepting people arrested on municipal charges.

The jail was at capacity and previously had to stop accepting those inmates last week.

Jail officials now tell us the jail population dropped by more than 250 people by releasing some inmates.

So they made some more room in the jail, just in time to fill them up again with the "More Cops More Stops" roadblocks, paid for with federal grant money. The grant just pays overtime for cops to make arrests, but we the taxpayers foot the bill for the resulting overcrowding. Cause and effect, people.
