Tulsa County Sheriff's Office vehicle burglarized

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office said one of their Tahoes was burglarized on Tuesday night.

It happened between 1 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. near 91st and Delaware. The burglar took several items, including a took a long range FN Special Police 308 rifle with a custom tan camouflage paint scheme, night vision goggles and other tactical gear.

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office is offering a reward in the amount of $2,500 for any information that leads to the return of the weapon. Anybody with information concerning this burglary is asked to call the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office at 918-596-5601or Investigator Eldridge at 918-596-8661.

The whole argument for cops to take home their vehicles is that "police cars in neighborhoods make them safer."
