Come to Cherokee and Adair Counties. I'm all for it. Why should I have to pay higher premiums, while others get by without it. If you get hit by someone who doesn't have insurance, you're sunk. I'm tired of working and paying out the nose so others don't have to! Go Tulsa! I'll be more than happy to show you my insurance card and my valid DL! Gee, I wonder how many are DUI!

I am NOT against insuring your car. It is the responsible thing to do. The thing I cannot understand, is with a clean record, no wrecks and no tickets EVER, I still pay more in insurance for a 6 month period than I did for the vehicle I drive. I understand if you have a brand new car, the rates would make more sense, but I believe car insurance is absolutely backwards. If you get sick or hurt, does YOUR insurance pay for it, or does the person who was standing next to you pay for it with THEIR insurance? I think if you have insurance, YOUR vehicle should be covered, as it is personal insurance. I own a home and between utilities, house payments, I don't have any debt, but may car insurance costs more than most of my utilities. If they stopped spending SO MUCH on advertising telling you how much they can save you, then they might actually be able to SAVE you some ACTUAL MONEY! The majority of people out there are legitimately trying to make it through the day, and taking away their way to get to work (NO bus comes near my place of employment) makes the money stop, and then they are way worse off than they were before. I know its taking a chance for them, but I can totally understand. When it comes to providing for my family, keeping the lights on and the food on the table comes way up on the list of priorities I have. Car insurance is probably one of the lowest on the list.

That's all we need is another unconstitutional checkpoint checking for your papers. This country is looking more an more like Nazi Germany everyday! Leave the people alone unless you have a clear reason to stop them!!!

The story is they got a government handout (grant) to pay the overtime for a bunch of cops to do a photo-op. Facts, not spin.
