A truck ended up in a ditch in south Tulsa overnight.

Police told FOX23 that the driver was westbound on 61st Street and Riverside Drive when they lost control and kept going right into the ditch near the river.

Crews were still trying to retrieve the truck several hours later.

Police said the driver was taken to a Tulsa hospital to be treated for his injuries, which police believe were serious but think not life-threatening.

Officers believe the driver may have been intoxicated.
