When you step outside, the first thing you feel is the cold wind on your face.
Tulsans are complaining about all the cold and snow we've had this season.
And everyone wants to know when it'll be over. FOX23's Janna Clark has the story.
For toddlers, a cold day puts a skip in their step. You won't hear them complaining.
But you will hear their moms gripe about this winter's weather.
"It's just been - cold," Sherry Kreitzer said.
"I wish it would go away," Sarah Morgan said.
It's not much fun dragging toddlers in and out of preschool in cruddy weather.
"It's so hard with the coats, you gotta bundle them up," Morgan said.
FOX23 Chief Meteorologist James Aydelott has heard it all.
"That's all we've been doing is hear people complain about the weather," Aydelott said.
It's no wonder we're weary of winter.
It snowed at least a little eight days in December, seven days in January, and so far - three days in February.
Tulsa had its first blizzard warning ever on Christmas Eve, and with it - almost six inches of snow. At the end of January - we had seven more inches.
Then it snowed again on Monday.
"Normally, we average nine inches of snow in Tulsa per year. We're getting close to twice that," Aydelott said.
It's been colder than normal too. On January 10, it got down to three degrees.
"I love Tulsa, but this is an adjustment," Stephanie Berger said.
But with all this dismal talk - Tuesday - a bright spot - the sun came out.
"That was great," Kreitzer said.
But don't take it as a sign that winter's over.
James's forecast in one word - cold.
And there's another chance of flurries Thursday night.
Stay tuned.
