The body of three people reported missing in the Arkansas River have been found.
First responders found Troy George's body shortly after 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
The Army Corps of Engineers closed the dam, and the changes in the water flow helped the recovery. Connor Norvell's body was found around 3:30 p.m. near a fountain in the low river dam.
Twenty-seven-year-old Eric Harris was found around 5:45 p.m. a mile south of the dam. Rescue teams said once the water level was low enough, they found him near some rocks.
Witnesses told Tulsa police that three people fell into the river near 31st & and Riverside around 5 a.m. near the low water dam.
Norvell's roommate, Kyle Kemp, huddled with friends as rescuers searched for the three men on Thursday.
Kemp said Norvell was an amazing guy, and Kemp is still in shock. He's known all three men since January, through classes at the Tulsa Welding School.
Kemp said he considers Norvell the greatest guy in the world.
He said it was Norvell who wanted to jump in the water, but when he got in early Thursday morning, the swift current was too much for him.
"Troy, he was a veteran and always a hero. He jumped in after Connor," said Kemp.
But the water overwhelmed them, taking them both underneath the murky waves.
Kemp said at one point, Harris jumped in to try to save George and Norvell, but he too became overwhelmed by the current.
Kemp said his three friends loved to go noodling, but it's something he wasn't excited to try.
"Lately they've been doing it, but I would never do it," he said.
