Three Tulsa teens are now charged with murder for the death of a man at Papa John's on March 23rd.

Tulsa police arrested Jermaine Savory, Frankie Jackson and Damian Anderson for First-Degree murder on March 25th.

All three 17-year olds are now charged with first degree murder and attempted robbery.

A UPS driver from Arlington, Texas was shot and killed on Saturday morning in the parking lot of a Tulsa Papa John's.

Robert Horton, 53, was pronounced dead in a local hospital after receiving two gunshot wounds to the chest.

Horton was unloading a delivery truck at the restaurant near 11th and Delaware. Tulsa police believe the suspect was trying to rob the truck, then shot Horton before leaving the scene around 6 a.m. There were no witnesses.

Another Papa John's employee found Horton, and called 911 believing he suffered from a heart attack. The employee who discovered Horton gave him CPR until EMSA arrived.

EMSA transported Horton to St. Johns Medical Center, where his gunshot wounds were found and he was pronounced dead.

This is Tulsa's 20th homicide this year.

Mayor MaynotKnow, are you telling me that the "Meth Capital" of the United States doesn't have the crime that goes with it? I think you may be indulging too deeply in your product.

WyoSchmoe believes in augering. Cut up a chicken throw the parts on the floor and see what the spirits say. Facts and statistics must be a bad way. Here's to what the statistics say. A more peaceful year on the way with fewer statistics for years to come. Hooray.

@Mayor - For a city this size there is way too much crime. I cant remember the individual that made this statement: "Only Fools and Liars use numbers to prove a Point". I couldn't agree more with that statement.

watergirl hates it when you beat her with facts. Reading statistics for Tulsa it actually states that the murder rate in Tulsa for 2013 is expected to be lower than statistics in 2010. If you are not afraid of the truth then read on. http://www.cityrating.com/crime-statistics/oklahoma/tulsa.html

Watergirl #8 ^]] Fearful ignorance will not save you from looking ignorant (stupid). There MAY be some crime in Tulsa , but Tulsa is a far cry from murder Capital of the USA. It's ok though to continue to live in uneducated fear. Don't forget to take your meds.

This qualifies as a hate crime. Since the victim was white the black suspects cant be charged with a hate crime. Why is it a hate crime only if the suspect is white?

So as long as we don't have 100,000 murders a year we are doing fine? okie dokie! Try those kids as adults and put all three six feet under.

Really we do not have a bad crime problem. In per capita statistics that are cited by the FBI in wikipedia neither Tulsa or Oklahoma city shows any rating per capita ratio significant enough to be noted. that dies not mean it doesn't happen it just means that it does not happen enough to call Tulsa the murder ink of USA. Currently in an annual summary Detroit Michigan holds that distinction in the hundred thou to 250,000 category.
