A 17-year-old drowns Saturday night at Keystone Lake and authorities say he wasn't wearing a life jacket.

Troopers say it happened around 7:30pm Saturday about 50 feet north of the south shore of Keystone Lake. They said 17-year-old Thomas Alvarez was on a surfboard when he fell off and into nine feet of water. Witnesses say he never came back up.

Authorities recovered the teen's body around 8:45pm in the same location.
