Teen dating violence awareness month

February is ‘Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.”
On Valentine’s Day, Tulsa’s Domestic Violence Intervention Services plans to go to area high schools and some middle schools to give students more information about healthy and safe relationships. Their message is “Love is respect.”
Students will also be told what they can do and how they can reach out for help if they find themselves in a relationship that threatens their safety.
