A Sand Springs teenager is behind bars, accused of downloading child pornography on to his home computer.
Robert Sternke, 18, was arrested early Wednesday morning at his Sand Springs home.
According to the police report, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was investigating the sharing of child pornography files and identified an IP address belonging to Sternke as downloading several files.
Investigators went to the home on Tuesday and spoke with Sternke.
According to the arrest report, Sternke told investigators that he knew what they were after and that he did not want to get his family involved. He reportedly directed investigators to his computers.
Investigators seized several computers and hard drives, along with a small bag of marijuana.
Sternke is being held on four possession of child pornography complaints and one complaint each of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He has a $40,500 bond.
