Teen accused of murder to be arraigned next month

New this morning, a 15-year-old boy, charged in the death of a woman last December, is scheduled to be arraigned next month.

Joshua Mooney is charged with first degree murder.

We checked court records and found out that a judge has set his arraignment for November 18th.

Mooney is accused of breaking into a home in Jenks last December and killing 47-year-old Mary Escue.

Investigators believe she walked in on Mooney while he was burglarizing her parents' home.

A judge has ruled Mooney will be tried as a youthful offender.

Try him as a youthful offender :-/ That's code for they're going to give him another chance to offend before they put this piece of garbage away for good.
