TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police say an 18-year-old Tulsa man has been arrested on a first-degree murder complaint in the shooting death of another man on the city's northeast side.
Officer Leland Ashley says Michael Wayne Dorsey was arrested Wednesday night after police responded to a shooting and found 20-year-old Ryan Jones. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Ashley says Jones was riding in a car with two other men when one of the men pulled out a handgun and shot Jones. Ashley says investigators believe the shooting was drug-related.
Dorsey is being held without bond in the Tulsa County jail. Ashley says he doesn't know if Dorsey has an attorney.
