FOX23 found federal judges away from the courthouse, instead spending time at one of America’s most luxurious resorts and taxpayers helped pay for it.

FOX23’s D.C. bureau reports that federal judges from Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland spent three days last week at the famous Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia for a conference and speech by the US Supreme Court Chief Justice.

"All kinds of posh amenities, everything a federal judge would want to be pampered with, are available there,” said Pete Sepp from the National Taxpayers Union.

Tonight on FOX23 News at Nine, our investigative team in Washington breaks down what exactly you paid for.
