Tahlequah police say a fight in an alley led to the death of a man in December.
Police say an anonymous 911 call alerted them to a bleeding man in an alley on December 18th, police found Randy Crowe and he was taken to the hospital where he was put on life support and later taken off the support and passed away.
Police say during their investigation they talked to a witness who said the fight started when Crowe tried to assault Kevin Lowe. The witness said they were with Crowe and Lowe and saw Crowe try to punch Lowe. The witness said Lowe ducked and punched Crowe once in the face causing him to fall and hit his head on the asphalt.
Police say they contacted Kevin Lowe and he corroborated the witness’ story. The Medical Examiner found evidence of a limited altercation.
