In a special meeting on Tuesday night the Tulsa Public School superintendent recommended the dismissal of Maurice Parker.
Parker is accused of inappropriate contact with an 18-year old student. Parker is a Social Studies teacher at Central High School, but has been suspended during the investigation. Investigators say Parker and the student had a consensual intimate relationship but state law forbids that relationship.
Parker's dismissal hearing is scheduled for March 6th at the Education Service Center.
