The Tulsa Public School District wants input from teachers and principals about a continuous learning calendar.
Currently, six TPS schools use the continuous learning calendar. Superintendent Dr. Keith Ballard believes a district wide calendar change will help address academic deficiencies in the district.
The change would allow for optional intersession weeks, those weeks would let teachers focus on students who need some extra help.
TPS also plans to seek input from parents before making any changes.
