Tulsa Public School officials say a majority of parents and teachers are in favor of offering students a half day off once a month next school year.
TPS is looking at a program that would give students a half day off once a month so teachers would have a day to plan classes. Over 600 surveys have been submitted back to TPS.
The survey will continue online for parents and teachers until Sunday at midnight. If teachers and parents are for it the school board will have to approve the recommendation for the coming school year.
