TPD searching for killer in a Midtown shooting

Tulsa Police say a 24-year-old man died after being shot multiple times in a Midtown parking lot. TPD says Byron Ivory was standing in front of his car near 18th and S Baltimore Ave. when he was shot around 1:30 Saturday morning. Homicide detectives say Ivory later died at St. Johns Hospital. Police believe the motive was robbery and they are still searching for the suspect.
Prior to the shooting officers say an armed robbery occurred at a club near 18th and S. Boston. TPD says the victim was to lured to an alley behind the bar where he was robbed at gunpoint by several men. Several of the suspects drove off in a silver Ford Fusion with temporary paper plates. One of the suspects ran off in the direction of the shooting.
Investigators aren't sure if the two crimes are related.
The man police are looking for is about 5'11'' and 180 pounds. Witnesses told police the man had shoulder length dread-locks.
