Tulsa police officers are getting new handguns.

TPD officials say officers can sign up to qualify for a new hand gun and it will be issued. Officials say Glock gives TPD a deal if they turn in old guns they get a discounted price on new guns. They say this cuts down costs on modifying older guns.

TPD says the guns start to wear down after 10 years and it was time for an upgrade.

I like glock weans. All in all though I still prefer a canon for shooting quality. Not nearly as messy.
