The Tulsa Police Department’s Financial Crimes Unit will go door to door this week to try a new approach in combating various financial crimes.

Each detective will visit a local business and educate them about financial crimes. They’ll focus on how to prevent and how to report them. The detectives will be handing out fliers and hope to make contact with the businesses loss prevention office or security officers to establish a more personal working relationship.

The detectives will be in marked police cars and uniforms and will visit all sides of town.
