A Tulsa Police officer who says he’s at the center of a police drug corruption investigation, says he is innocent, and wants to fight back against new accusations that he is involved in a drug conspiracy.

Officer Jeff Henderson is now on leave of absence from the department pending the result of an ongoing grand jury investigation into allegations that Tulsa Police officers fabricated drug deals.

This week, there was a new motion by the special investigator in the case to overturn another drug conviction, asking for the release of a convicted felon Bobby Wayne Haley. According to court documents, the informant whose testimony helped convict that man, says she lied because Officer Henderson asked her to lie under oath as a favor to Henderson.

Henderson has not been indicted or charged, but his defense team told FOX23 he is innocent.

They used this informant for 10 or 15 years to convict people and now say she is a liar. I can't wait for this to completely blow up. Wasn't a few officers almost investigated last year for steroid abuse but the Union stepped in?
