TCC relocating Metro Campus classes on Thursday

TCC officials told FOX23 class schedules should resume on Thursday.

TCC is working to relocate roughly 4,000 students and employees from TCC’s Metro Campus as a result of Monday night’s fire at the Main Academic Building.

TCC officials are finding classroom and lab space for the classes and services, officials are also trying to minimize impact on the academic progress of students during this process. 

TCC officials are in the process of putting up the course relocation on TCC’s webpage and said students should check to see where their classes will be held.

In addition, TCC is moving student services like financial aid and the bursar’s office.
  • Northeast Campus – relocating 79 sections and involves most Liberal Arts and Communication Division classes.
  • Southeast Campus – relocating 36 sections and including all Nursing and Allied Health classes.
  • West Campus – relocating 68 sections and including Science classes with labs.
In addition, there were a few classes were moved online. Beginning on Thursday with the relocation of classes, there will be welcome stations on each campus to assist students.
