Tulsa Community College set up a hotline to assist Metro Campus students with issues related to the relocation of summer classes following the electrical fire on Monday night.
The fire at the Main Academic Building forced the relocation of nearly 4,000 students, faculty and staff.
The Metro Student Course Schedule Transition Hotline can be reached at 918-595-7999. This hotline is for TCC students enrolled and displaced by the fire. The hotline is available June 20 through June 27 and will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
TCC will have representatives from academic divisions, advising, enrollment services and financial aid involved with the hotline.
The hotline started on Thursday morning and has had 10 to 15 calls an hour. As of 3 p.m. the hotline had seen about 75 calls and consistent call traffic. TCC expects to see that volume increase next week.
The fire at the Metro Campus forced TCC to relocate classes to Northeast, Southeast and West Campuses.
TCC has had positive feedback from students, but school officials said they understand this is a difficult time for students and they ask students to be patient during this process.
TCC urges students to check the course relocation schedule at www.tulsacc.edu
. TCC also established a Metro Campus Update page on the site where important information will be posted to help assist TCC Metro students impacted by the fire.
