23-year-old Terrico Bethel has been charged with first degree murder.  Investigators say he was hired to kill Tulsa businessman Neal Sweeney 9 months ago.

Sweeney was shot in the head and killed while sitting at his desk at his Tulsa business last September.  Investigators say Bethel was hired by someone who had connections to Sweeney’s business deals.  Police say the investigation is far from over as they believe there are others involved in what they believe was a contract killing.

Bethel has been in police custody since February on unrelated charges.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and they believe there will be more arrests.
