According to the OK Supreme Court Network website, the shooter's father Daniel C. Dennehy also has recent convictions for discharging a firearm in a public place (2008), DUI (2009), public intoxication (2011) and resisting arrest (2011).

I am so sick of our judicial system. We come down so hard on the minor offenses yet slap these crazy folks like this dude on the back of their hands and tell them bad shame on you dont do it again and release them back onto the streets. How many defferred and suspended sentences did he have???? And yet he was allowed to kick it and have freedom....TO DO AGAIN....AND AGAIN.....AND AGAIN!!!!!
