One of the suspects in the quadruple murder of four Tulsa women previously faced a murder charge for a deadly prison riot in Cushing.
Cedric Poore was one of six men charged with first degree murder for the 2005 stabbing death of Adam Lippert in a fight at Cushing’s private prison. Court records show Poore was charged for his role in the fight, but he was not seen stabbing Lippert.
Court records allege Poore used a bat to repeatedly hit other inmates involved in the fight. The murder charge against Poore was dropped in 2007.
Poore and his brother, James, were arrested on Wednesday and face charges for the January 7th shooting death of twin sisters Rebeika Powell and Kayetie Melchor, Julie Jackson and Misty Nunley.
