A Tulsa man is charged with eight different counts for a midtown Tulsa crime spree on February 2nd.
Police were called to 1600 S. Quaker around 9 p.m. on the 2nd to investigate an attempted robbery. Police say witnesses told them a man had been seen throwing a rock through a window of a house.
Police say the suspect, 45-year-old Archie Monroe, vandalized and smashed out the windows of six vehicles in the area. Shortly after that, TPD says the same suspect started two fires. The first was caught on surveillance video in a dumpster next to a dentist office. The second fire was reported about twenty minutes later in a carport on 1736 S Owasso.
Officers answered a call round 9:50 p.m. at Long John Silvers on 14th and Peoria to investigate reports of sexual battery. Witnesses told police Monroe got into a fight with a female employee. The victim's father stepped in to defend her and officers say the two men were fighting when they arrived at the restaurant.
Officers arrested 45-year-old Monroe. He is charged with two counts of arson and six counts of malicious injury to property.
