Suspect in Bixby Amber Alert in jail, awaiting charges

Bixby police say Natasha Hoch is still being held in the Bixby jail while police determine what charges she could face.
On Monday, around 4 p.m, 4-year-old Justice Poindexter went missing. Shortly after 9 p.m. police found Poindexter safe at a south Tulsa gas station.
According to Bixby police, Natasha Hoch, 31, is responsible for taking Poindexter. Hoch is the roommate of the child's father and police say at some point on Monday she was entrusted to care for Poindexter .
Jenks police found Hoch at the Kum & Go gas station on 101st Street and Riverside Avenue and immediately took her into custody. Hoch had rented a U-Haul and stolen the Honda Civic she was driving from the child's father.
Police said it appeared she was trying to move out and take the child with her. Officers at the scene where the child was found Monday night said she faces stolen property charges.
Police on Monday called the case "odd." Police tell FOX23 they detectives are interviewing Hoch to determine what happened before determining what charges she could face.
