Drivers in Broken Arrow take extra precautions on the road because of slippery conditions.
Snow falling for hours left many drivers worried about making it to their destination on time.
"If they don't have to, stay home. But if they have to be careful and slow down," Penny Sago said.
Sago said the main streets didn't appear to be overtaken by the snow.
"They're not too bad as long as you're careful and not driving crazy," she said.
The City of Broken Arrow had sand trucks roaming through the night. The salt is ineffective when temperatures drop below the mid-20s. Police urged drivers to stay off the streets if possible.
There was one collision reported off Highway 51 and Kenosha. Police said no one was severely injured.
